It is hereby notified for the information of all prospective candidates seeking admission to various courses of study in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for the academic session 2026–27 that the official Guide to Admissions 2026–27 containing course details, seat intake, eligibility criteria, test centers, and fee structures has been officially approved and uploaded onto the official examination portal: www.amucontrollerexams.com.

2. Crucial Application Guidelines & Mandatory Uploads
- Single Registration Profile: Candidates are strictly instructed to create only ONE registration account on the portal. Multiple accounts using different emails for the same applicant will lead to disqualification.
- Photograph Specifications: Upload high-contrast passport-sized color photograph against a plain white background (file size 20KB – 100KB, JPG/JPEG). Sunglasses and caps are strictly prohibited.
- Internal vs External Quota Assertion: Candidates claiming Institutional (Internal) quota must enter their valid AMU Enrollment Number and School/Faculty Roll Number. Institutional claims without verified enrollment records will be systematically converted to External status without further correspondence.
- Special Category Certificates: Candidates claiming CE (Children of AMU Employee), CA (Children of Alumni), BC (Backward Class), SC/ST, or PwD quotas must upload digital copies of authorized government certificates strictly issued in the prescribed format.
3. Test Centers Across India
In addition to Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), entrance tests for major high-volume courses (Class 11, Diploma in Engineering, AMUEEE B.Tech, BA LLB, and MBA) will be organized across outside test centers:
