Firm List 1 Counselling Schedule & Document Verification Guidelines for UG Programs

The Office of the Controller of Examinations announces the commencement of the Online Counselling & Admission Portal (CAP 2026) for candidates whose roll numbers feature in the Select List and Chance Memo List for undergraduate admissions 2026–27 (B.Tech, B.Sc Hons, B.Com Hons, and BA Hons).
1. Counselling Round 1 Timeline

2. Mandatory Documents to be Scanned & Uploaded
Original certificates must be scanned clearly in color (PDF or JPEG, 200KB to 2MB):
- Class 10 Marksheet / High School Certificate: In support of Date of Birth verification.
- Class 12 / Senior Secondary Qualifying Marksheet: Showing aggregate and subject-wise eligibility marks.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) & Migration Certificate: From the school/college last attended.
- Character Certificate: Issued by the Head of the institution last attended.
- Special Category Certificates: Relevant valid certificates for Internal, CE, CA, BC, SC/ST, or PwD status.
- Anti-Ragging Affidavits: Duly signed affidavits by Candidate and Parent (as mandated by UGC regulations).
3. Critical Rules for Chance-Memo Candidates
Note for Waiting/Chance Memo Candidates: Candidates placed in the Chance Memo list MUST participate in Round 1 registration and document verification. If a Chance Memo candidate fails to register during Round 1, their claim for seat allotment in subsequent Firm Lists (Firm List 2 & Firm List 3) against vacant seats will be permanently forfeited.
